How to Make Natural Car Wax

If you take pride in your car, preferring to detail it yourself, and keep it exquisitely clean, why not add a personal care touch with your very own homemade, natural wax? Here’s a simple recipe for an all-natural car wax that will bring out a deep, brand-new car shine in your ride.

    Things You'll Need

    • Linseed oil
    • Carnauba wax (available at auto stores)
    • Beeswax
    • Vinegar

        Dump 1 cup of linseed oil, 4 tbsp. of carnauba wax, 2 tbsp. of beeswax and 1/2 cup of vinegar into the top half of a double boiler or saucepan.

        Heat slowly, on low, until wax has melted.

        Stir, and pour into a heat-resistant container.

        Allow wax to solidify for about an hour or more.

        Apply wax with a sponge or lint-free towel onto the car, and rub to a deep shine.
