The newest Diet taking over the popular Hollywood Crowd at the moment is called the Lemon Detox Diet. Many of Hollywood's Elite are losing anywhere from 12 to 20 pounds in just two short weeks. There are enough nutrients in this Detox to keep you energized, yet enough to cleanse your body of unwanted toxins. If you are looking for a Detox that has been around for years and you are wanting to jump start your metabolism, the Lemon Detox Diet will get your body off to a great start.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 oz of ice cold Water.
  • 1/2 of a medium to large sized Lemon freshly squeezed.
  • 2 tablespoons of 100% Pure Maple Syrup.
  • A pinch of ground Cayenne Pepper or ground Ginger.
  • Drinking Glass.
  • Spoon.

    How to make the Lemon Detox Diet Drink.

  1. Step 1
    Start off with a Glass of cold Water.
    Start off with a Glass of cold Water.

    Take your Drinking Glass and fill half way to the top with 4 oz of very cold Water.

  2. Step 2
    Add a half of freshly squeezed Lemon.
    Add a half of freshly squeezed Lemon.

    Take your fresh Lemon Half and squeeze the Juice into the Drinking Glass, making sure to leave out the Pulp and the Seeds.

  3. Step 3
    Add your  Maple Syrup.
    Add your Maple Syrup.

    Add 2 tablespoons of Pure Maple Syrup.

  4. Step 4
    A dash of Cayenne Pepper.
    A dash of Cayenne Pepper.

    Add just a pinch of your choice of Cayenne Pepper or Ground Ginger to your Drinking Glass.

  5. Step 5

    Take your Spoon and stir well.

    Add another 4 oz of cold Water to your Drinking Glass. Stir again.

  7. Step 7
    Keep track of how much you drink.

    Drink this 8 oz Detox Drink a minimum of six to eight times a day for seven to fourteen days for maximum weight loss results.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure your Water is ice cold just before your drink it, this helps aid in the Detox Process.
  • Use fresh ground Ginger or Cayenne Pepper for a crisp, sharp taste.
  • Buy fresh Lemons and squeeze just before serving for maximum freshness and taste.
  • Try to stay on the diet for the allotted time for the best results.
  • You may feel sluggish and weak the first couple of days; at this point your body is releasing toxins and getting rid of unwanted fat.
  • Always consult your Physician before starting this or any other weight loss program.
  • If you begin to feel extremely lightheaded or dizzy, sit down and ask for assistance.
  • Do not use imitation Lemon Juice as it will not give you the toxin releasing benefits as pure Lemon Juice does.
  • Do not eat any solid foods while on this Diet.
  • Do not use anything but pure Maple Syrup as it could have added Sugars and Preservatives that could stall your weight loss.

on 7/8/2009 hi, i'm kind of confused. does this mean you drink more than 8oz a day? cause it says drink this 8oz for six to eight times a day... so does that mean drinking around 48oz-64oz a day? sorry if it's kind of a stupid question >.< thank you.

on 7/6/2009 Im bout to start this diet to, to all who have started and are about to start, GOOD LUCK :) determination and will power is the key and you all have it in you!! Lets turn things around instead of saying that you hope you can last the 2 weeks, you need to say that you WILL last the 2 weeks.

on 6/24/2009 I have to say this was a little hard in the begining of day one. After the 4th time drinking the mix I was tired of the back of my throat burning. So I tried something different. I got a little shot glass put the cayenne pepper in it and a small amount of the mix. Mixed it up and took the shot. Had some water right after. It was so much easier to drink the mix without the pepper. I could drink it faster and it wasn't so bad. Going on day 2 feeling good.

on 6/10/2009 i'm starting this detox tomorrow, in preparaton for my wedding! i really hope i can last the next 2wks. i put a pic of me in a bathing suit in my living room. so since your not suppossed to have solid food, can you have applesauce or maybe soup?
