It is inevitable that when you cry that your eyes will get swollen and puffy. It is for this reason that even after you have calmed down and stopped crying that the puffiness is there to remind you of why you were crying. To truly get over the reason that you were crying, you need to reduce the puffiness in your eyes from crying. Follow these simple steps to reduce the puffiness from crying.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 washcloth
  • 2 cotton balls
  • cold milk
  • 1 metal spoon
  • 1 container eye serum

Reduce the Puffiness from Crying

Place the metal spoon in the freezer to get it cold fast to reduce puffiness. While you are waiting wet your washcloth with cold water from the faucet. Dab your puffy eyes with the washcloth.

Pour ice cold milk into a small bowel. Place the 2 cotton balls into the milk. Remove the cold spoon for the freezer and place it on our closed eyes for 1 minute each to reduce the puffiness from crying.

Take the cotton balls that were dipped in the cold milk and hold them against your eyes for 1 minute to reduce the puffiness from crying.

Use the washcloth to clean and dry off the area around your eyes.

Finish reducing the puffiness from crying by applying a small amount of eye serum under each eye.

Tips & Warnings

  • Find an eye serum that is specifically formulated to reduce puffiness. There are many on the market that do this.
  • Keep all products that you are using to reduce puffiness from crying out of your eyes. If they get into your eyes, these products may add to the puffiness problem.
