Punch Someone in the Face

The day may come when you just need to haul off and punch someone in the face. It could be in a barroom brawl, a stand off between you and the class bully or a number of other situations where it simply seems appropriate. You can punch someone in the face with a few simple steps and good running shoes, so you can flee after your punch hits its target.

    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Target
    • Fist
      • 1

Decide on your target. You want to be standing near enough so your arm reaches the person you intend to punch. You also want to make sure they are facing you so you can hit them in the face, rather than the back of the head. The chin is a good facial feature to aim for, unless you wish to break the person's nose. You are going to aim for the side of the head, so your punch follows through, rather than a straight-on assault.

Ready your fist. Pick the arm that's the strongest for you and get the fist ready for a nice punch. This means curling your four fingers in towards the palm and looping your thumb on the outside of them, just below the knuckles of your first two fingers.

Bend the elbow of your punching arm back behind you, keeping your elbow in about the middle of your back and twisting your body to move with the elbow. You should sort of feel like you're doing a waist twist exercise. Twisting your whole body in this manner will give you more power for the punch.

Swing your torso, arm and fist forward in one fell swoop and connect with your target. Make sure to hit them with the flattest part of your fist, right below the top bent knuckles, to insure the biggest impact. You can punch them with the top bent knuckles themselves to perhaps cause more damage, but that also puts you at risk for breaking those knuckles.

        Turn around and run.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Feel free to make sound effects when your fist connects, such as "Wham," "Bam," or "Yeehaw."

    • Practice punching someone in the face by punching a pillow, couch cushion or actually punching bag.

    • Punching someone in the face can technically result in assault charges. Make sure your victims are worth it and, if possible, have no witnesses so it will be your word against theirs in court.

    • It is not recommended you punch your boss, teacher, parents or an officer of the law.
