One of the most important steps in making your bed is putting a clean pillowcase on your pillow. Putting a clean pillowcase on your pillow will help your complexion clear. Bacteria and dirt can build up on your pillowcase and cause break outs. Follow these simple steps to put your pillow in a pillowcase.

    How to Put a Pillow in a Pillowcase

  1. Step 1

    Take your clean pillowcase and shake it out to open up the case to put your pillow in with ease.

  2. Step 2

    Turn your pillow so that one end is facing up at you. Place the pillow in this direction on your bed with the other end on the bed to put it in a pillowcase.

  3. Step 3

    Slide the opening of the pillowcase over the end of the pillow that is facing up at you. Pull the pillowcase about half way down the pillow.

  4. Step 4

    Flip the pillow over and pull up on the ends of the pillowcase to put the remainder of the pillow inside of the pillowcase.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep track of what pillowcases are clean.
  • Change all pillowcases on your pillows at the same time.
  • If you or a loved one is sick, change the pillowcases on your pillows daily to keep the cold germs from spreading.
