If you have a desire to meet a Japanese woman to begin some sort of relationship, you will be best served by remembering that Japanese women in America are highly naturalized and not so different from other women.

Instructions

  1. Instructions On Meeting Japanese Women

    • 1

Read a magazine or other publication aimed at Japanese women. You can find many such things online, and use an auto translator to help you understand them.

    • 2

Evaluate your reasons why you want to meet Japanese women, and be honest. Find out what qualities of Japanese women are attractive to you. Determine if the these qualities and the culture is a good fit for you.

    • 3

Learn karaoke. Japanese people are rather famous for their fascination with karaoke, and a karaoke bar is a great place to meet groups of Japanese women.

    • 4

Eat out at Japanese restaurants. Get to know the hostesses and make them like you. If they aren’t interested, they might know a friend who would be.

    • 5

Go on tours of local attractions at the height of tourist season, and get tickets to the local symphony. Many Japanese women are musically inclined, and you might get a chance to meet somebody at a classical music event.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you can, make friends with Japanese coworkers or volunteer to help teach an English as a second language class. This gives you a chance to get to know Japanese women in a more natural setting than a bar scene.

  • The worst way to start out is to tell a Japanese woman that you ‘have this thing’ for Asian chicks, or something similar. It is highly insulting

Actually, the best way to meet Japanese women is to go to Japan. Karaoke, while important, isn't anything you really need to *learn*, because Japanese people aren't that concerned with your skill, instead it's more of a willingness to just be there and do it. The single greatest source of help I have found was a book called 'Japanese Girls - The Guide' (Google it). The authors have been in Japan forever and it is presented in a very digestible format. Even for business trips or short vacations, Japan can be quite a playground. Good luck.
