Instructions

  1. Gather Your Ingredients

    • 1

Find some baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.

    • 2

Put a bit of baking soda into a small cup or tray. This stops you from having to dip your toothbrush in the box, potentially spreading germs.

    • 3

Rinse your toothbrush off thoroughly and shake off as much water as possible.

    • 4

Brush with baking soda for at least 45 seconds.

    • 5

Clean the toothbrush again to remove any excess baking soda.

    • 6

Pour a small cup of hydrogen peroxide.

    • 7

Rinse with the peroxide for 30 seconds and spit.

    • 8

Repeat the above steps twice a day.

Tips & Warnings

  • Stay away from smoking, coffee, beets, and other things that stain your teeth.

  • Be sure to use drug store hydrogen peroxide with a strength of about 3 percent. Stronger hydrogen peroxide can be dangerous to rinse with.

  • If it sits for too long, hydrogen peroxide can lose strength. If your bottle is really old, consider buying a new one.
