Creating a model of yourself can be fun and extremely enlightening. Maybe you didn't realize you had big hips or small feet. Once you begin creating that model of yourself there is no going back. Just have fun and be as truthful as possible. Have a friend or family member look at the model to let you know if you were accurate or if they see something that you could change. There is a quick and easy way to create a model of yourself. Here's how:

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet

    Get an Account

  1. Step 1

Setup a free account at My Virtual Model. This is easy and you will be given instant access as soon as you fill in a few pieces of info. You will not have to go to your email address to verify anything and you don't have to check the box that says 'send me periodic email updates'.

  2. Step 2

Choose whether you are a man or a woman.

  3. Step 3

Upload a photo of yourself. They will automatically make that your face instead of using one of the pre-selected faces the site provides. If you want you can use one of the pre-selected faces.

  4. Step 4

Choose your clothes. There are plenty of clothes to choose from. Pick the ones that best represent your style. There are six or eight different styles of jeans you can choose from. You can also choose your shoes and your accessories. There is a little drop down menu that makes finding these items easy.

  5. Step 5

Click 'personalize' on the top left hand corner. This feature will allow you to change the body shape, weight, height, bra size, eye color, hair length, and just about any other feature you need to make your model look exactly like you. This is the closest model you are going to get to the real you. Other things you can change include your age appearance, shape of your nose, and the thinness or thickness of your lips.

  6. Step 6

Click the 'weight loss' button. This will allow you to see side by side comparisons of what you look like at your current weight versus what you will look like at a different weight. It is a great way to create a model of yourself appearing several pounds lighter. You can use that model to help motivate you to lose weight.

Tips & Warnings
  • Using a virtual model site is much more professional than creating an avatar and allows people to get a better picture of you.
  • A model is a likeness of you. You can not get an exact duplicate no matter how hard you try because there is only one you and you are unique. So don't get upset if your model doesn't come out exactly as you had hoped.
