Step1
waiting for food
There are really easy ways to feed the hungry, especially the click to donate sites like The Hunger Site. (See resources below for internet site). You simply click on the sites, and a small amount of food is donated to the hungry around the world.
Step2
In the United States of America there are plenty of hungry people, and it's getting worse. The price of food is going up all the time, and many of these families were already struggling to feed their kids. Many families must choose between food and heat, or medicine. A terrible, soul-destroying choice to have to make.
In particular, the Native American reservations like Pine Ridge and Rosebud in South Dakota have many hungry people. Alaska natives have a lot of hunger too, in cities like Anchorage especially.
The inner city poverty and hunger in the USA is well-known and growing, and so is the rural poor. Some places in Appalachia look like third world countries, and the children are starving.
See resources below for ways to help the hungry children in the USA, including Feed The Children, and organizations that donate food to Native American families that are in dire need of food and assistance. Also consider donating to your local food banks and your local soup kitchens.
Step3
There are millions of children around the world who have known nothing but hunger. Please donate to organizations that are feeding these precious children. If you don't, who will?
See the resources list below for organizations that are making a difference in the war on hunger.
