Believe it or not, silver eyeshadow is one shadow shade that every woman should have on hand. Silver is one of the most versatile colors to wear and can be used on any skin type, with any makeup style and any time of the day. Whether going for a bold head-turning nighttime look or shooting for natural daytime glow, silver can help to make your palette pop.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Silver eyeshadow
  • Charcoal eyeliner
  • Black mascara
  1. Step 1

Wear silver eyeshadow as the base for any makeup style. Apply the silver from your lash line to the brow ridge, blending the powder evenly and working it into your skin. Apply your regular makeup on top. The silver will act like a primer, helping you to blend top coats and make your look last while adding depth to the eyes with subtle brow ridge highlights.

  2. Step 2

Choose a metallic silver for a glowing, luminescent look. Apply your nighttime eyeshadow as usual and then lightly dampen the tip of an angled shadow brush. Make sure that you do not ruin your shadow palette by stroking the brush along the edge of the container and then create a fine silver line along the upper and lower lids.

  3. Step 3

Help to keep your look fresh, even when the long daytime hours stretch into the night by applying a very small dab of silver eyeshadow to the inner one-third of your lower lids, beginning as near to the inner eye as possible. Blend well and reapply as needed to hide tired eyes.

  4. Step 4

Add size and depth to your eyes by applying silver eyeshadow thickly on the upper eyelid from the lash line to the crease. Use a darker eyeshadow along the crease, blending up the eye lid. Finish by wearing a charcoal colored eyeliner on the upper and lower lids and a light coat of black mascara.
