Step 1
Situate your sarong so that the pattern is facing the correct direction and that the right side is facing out, if your particularly sarong happens to have a right and wrong side. Place the fabric behind your back, holding the ends in your hands.

Hold the end in your left hand at your right hip so that it is crossing over your body, and then wrap the right side over the front. Pull the fabric tight so that it holds the edge resting at your right hip in place, and then continue wrapping around your waist.

Step 3
Bring both ends together at your right hip and tie a square knot to finish your skirt. You can tuck the knot underneath or move it to the front slightly, depending on the look you are going for. If the skirt is longer than you like, fold the fabric over itself to create a thick waistband.

Tie a sexy, shorter wrap skirt in exactly the same manner but double or even triple fold the fabric before wrapping.
