1
Study the controller moves for each game. With each new edition, it's possible that at least one or two moves may have been altered, You need to know exactly how to work the controller for each game.
-
2
Choose a wrestling character whose moves you are comfortable with. Keep in mind that your favorite wrestler on TV might not be the one whose moves you can master in the game.
-
-
3
Create your own wrestler in the game if none of the wrestlers work for you. You'll probably want one with a variety of attacks and especially a strong special finishing move. Most importantly, you want moves you're comfortable using.
-
4
Master the grappling moves in each game above all else, because they will do more damage than striking moves. This includes not only the moves to bring your opponent to the ground, but the ones that wear him down while he is on the mat.
-
5
Know when to use your special moves most effectively. You want to use them most when the opponent's stamina is low so you can pin him. You'll also need to learn how to counter his special moves.
-
6
Practice as much as you can. Even with video games, you can't improve without work. You'll want to play against the computer as much as you can. Once you can beat it regularly, your friends should be no problem.
