Things You'll Need:
- iTunes
- Blank CDs
- Computer with a CD burner
-
Step 1
Open iTunes and create a playlist. Most CDs can hold over 100 songs, but such CDs can take a long time to burn and are more likely to produce a burn error. Try to limit your mp3 CD to no more than 50 songs.
-
Step 2
Go to "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Advanced" > "Burning" on the iTunes menu bar at the top of the window. Select "mp3 CD" as your format.
-
Step 3
Choose the playlist that you want to burn to disk. Each song should have a check box beside it. Make sure that all of the songs have a check inside the box.
-
Step 4
Put your blank CD inside your CD burner drive.
-
Step 5
Select the "Burn CD" button at the bottom of the iTunes window. iTunes will automatically burn your CD for you.

on 6/29/2008 I used to burn CDs in iTunes then ripped them into plain formats which could be played elsewhere, like Zune, PSP, mobile phone, etc.
Now, I want to recommend a good tool to get unprotected music formats without wasting real CDs. It's NoteBurner.
For my PC, NoteBurner is always the best choice to convert such DRM music. The interface is lite and simple, while the function is powerful and the speed is wonderful.
Besides, it's the first choice for the TopTenREVIEWS editors, please check this page http://audio-converter-software-review.toptenreviews.com/noteburner-review.html (other converters are only for unprotected music). Please check and enjoy!
