Things You'll Need:
- Windows Media Player software
- Blank CDR or CDRW
-
Step 1
Click on the Start menu at the bottom left of the screen and move the cursor to "All Programs." Move the cursor to Windows Media Player and click on it.
-
Step 2
Look for the "Search" box toward the top of the Windows Media Player screen and click inside the box. Type in the name of the song that you would like to burn.
-
Step 3
Go to the navigation bar at the top and click on the "Burn" tab. A window will appear on the right that will read "CD Drive," "Audio CD," "Insert a blank CD," "Burn List" and "Drag items here to create a burn list."
-
Step 4
Left-click on the song that is going to be burned, hold it down and drag it into that area that says "Drag items here to create a burn list."
-
Step 5
Insert the blank CD into the CD drive. Above the "Burn List," an icon of a CD will appear. Once it appears, click on the button at the bottom right that says "Start Burn." Once it is finished, there will be a message next to the song that says "Complete." The CD drive should automatically eject the disc after completion. If it doesn't, open the CD drive to eject the disc.
