How to Make a Tube Turkey Call
A tube turkey call is a relatively simple call that can be made from materials found from around the household.
Things You'll Need
- 3/4-inch PVC pipe
- Saw
- Sandpaper
- Plastic lid
- Marker
- Scissors
- Plastic or hot glue
- Latex glove
- Rubber band
- Camouflage tape (optional)

Cut a 3/4-inch length of PVC pipe with a saw.

Sand the ends of the PVC pipe with sandpaper.

Place the pipe in an upright position on to a plastic lid (margarine tub).

Trace the lid around the pipe with a marker.

Cut the circle out of the lid with scissors.

Cut the circle in half across its diameter.

Glue one half circle flat on to one end of the PVC pipe,

Trim and sand the rough edges.

Wrap camouflage tape around the pipe.

Cut a two-inch square piece from the latex glove.

Place the latex square over the end of the pipe opposite the lid that was glued on in Step 7, leaving a slight gap.

Tips & Warnings
To use a tube turkey call, place your lower lip on the lidded side of the pipe and blow into the gap between the lid and the latex square.
Other tubes may be used instead of PVC pipe, such as an empty 35mm film container.
