How to Make Inexpensive Valentine's Day Gifts

Whether you are a girl or a guy, finding the right Valentine's Day gift while you do not have money is extremely challenging. There is a significant amount of pressure to buy a large gift, roses, jewelry or other expensive items. People often forget that you do not have to spend a significant amount of money to impress and make your partner feel loved. This article will give you an example of an inexpensive gift that is sure to go over well with the one you love.

Things You'll Need

• One small red paper box
• One pink ribbon
• One sheet of pink Valentine's Day themed stickers
• 30 small strips of computer paper

Instructions

1. Place pink stickers on the outside of your red box in any order or design.

2. Make at least 30 strips of computer paper that are large enough to write on.

3. On each strip of paper write down one thing you like about your partner or a favorite memory of your partner.

4. 

   Fold each strip of paper in a manner in which they will fill more volume inside the red box. The easiest fold to use is the basic accordion fold.

5. Place the folded pieces of paper with written notes on them inside the red box.

6. Close the red box and tie the box closed with the pink ribbon.

7. Create a bow on the top of the box with the pink ribbon.

Tips & Warnings

• The more things you can think of to write down to put in the box the better. The point of this gift is to be very sentimental.

• You can use any fold to fold the strips of paper you place in the red box. The accordion fold is one of the easiest to use.

• You may print on the strips of paper but it may be more personal if you hand write on them.
