There are many types of healing magic and some of them are extremely complicated. One easy way to harness healing energies is through the use of color. There are many different ways of using the emanations of color for healing and other magical properties. The power of color can be harnessed by color infusion, through ingestion and by using colored light. Read on to learn how to use color to heal.

  • Clean non-toxic colored stones
  • Mineral water
  • Colored light bulbs or colored light gels
  1. Step 1

    Decide on the color. The color needed for healing will be determined by the affliction. The color orange helps with depression, asthma and rheumatism. Red helps sexual disorders. Yellow is used for hormonal problems. Green serves as an antiseptic and soothe headaches. Blue is an all-purpose healing color but is also helpful with insomnia. Indigo helps with sinus problems and eczema. Purple treats issues of self-esteem and emotional hurt. Black is useful for treating grief. Gold is helpful for digestive issues and silver is calming. White will replace any color as necessary.

  2. Step 2

    Create a color infusion tonic. Use the colored stones to infuse mineral water with healing properties. Clean the stones thoroughly. Place the colored stones needed in a clear bowl of mineral water. Set the bowl in the sun for two hours plus an hour for each additional color.

  3. Step 3

    Remove the colored stones from the water. Pour the water in a glass and drink the tonic. If you wish to save come of the tonic then save it in a glass jar, never plastic.

  4. Step 4

    Wear the color. A simple and effective way to use color to accelerate healing is to wear the corresponding and spend at least an hour in contact with the sun. This of course has the added advantage of harnessing the sun’s natural healing properties.

  5. Step 5

    Eat colored food. Colored foods can be quite useful for healing. Red, orange and yellow are colors of heat and are stimulating with the color red having the ability to restore energy. Yellow foods can help with weight loss. Green foods detoxify the body. Blues and purples are soothing foods.

  6. Step 6

    Use colored light. Colored light bulbs or colored gels can be used to spotlight specific areas of the body or in the case of stress bathe the entire body. To ensure balance use a complementary color as a second light. For instance, red should be followed by blue.
