So if you can view YouTube on your PC, you can use iPaper to publish and share your documents. Read on to learn how to use iPaper by Scribd.

Use the iPaper Zoom controls to change the document size

Use the iPaper Zoom controls to change the document size from its default, which fits the document to fill the iPaper window. The controls are represented by the "+" and "-" icons in the toolbar. When you mouse over the Zoom controls, a slider bar appears. Use either one of the buttons or the slider bar to adjust the magnification of the document. The two notches in the slider bar represent the ideal magnification for displaying the full height and width of the document.

  2. Step 2

Click on the document navigation buttons to move from one page to the next. They are located to the right of the Zoom buttons. Click the right or the left arrow to move one page forward or one page back, respectively.

  3. Step 3

Jump easily from the current page to another particular page in the document using the "Tile Mode" button. Tile Mode presents the pages in a "tile" formation. By clicking on the page you want, it opens up in full-screen mode in the iPaper window.

Use the "Select Text" button (to the right of the "Tile Mode" button) if you want to highlight, cut and/or paste sections of the document. By default, the mouse pointer displays the "hand" icon, which can be used to scroll through documents. Click the "Select Text" button to change the mode so that you can use the mouse pointer to select, copy and/or paste portions of the document. Keep in mind that this feature will not work with every single scanned document you'll find on Scribd.

  5. Step 5

Search the document using the "Search" box. Type in a word or phrase to look up all incidences of that word or words in the document. Move from one search result to the next by clicking "Next."

  6. Step 6

Expand the document to cover the entire browser window, rather than just the iPaper window, by clicking on the "Full Screen" mode, the last button on the toolbar.

  7. Step 7

The scroll bar along the right-hand side of the document lets you move up and down the document. The page numbers will appear as you scroll through the document pages. The scroll bar also serves as a progress indicator when you are downloading large-size documents.
