How to Make Onion Sauce

If you love onions, you'll love onion sauce. It is a delectable treat for the sense of taste. This can be slathered over burgers, even veggie or mushroom burgers, as well as pasta, rice or potato dishes. Try it over cauliflower as well. Does this Spark an idea?

  • 2 Onions
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup White Wine
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • Salt

Instructions

      Heat oil in pan on medium low heat. Add thinly sliced onions.

      Stir often until caramelized, brown and melt-in-your mouth tender. This should take about 15 minutes.
