How to Transfer Digital Pictures
Having a digital camera is a useful piece of electronic equipment to have. You can store many pictures at once and transfer them easily to your computer for storage, developing, and sharing with your friends and family. It is an easy process as long as you have an additional USB cord or memory cards that usually come with your digital camera. Below are some steps that you assist you in transferring your photos from your digital camera to your computer.

Plug the USB cord from your camera into your computer's USB port. If you have a memory card in your digital camera, take the memory card and put it into your memory card reader. Plus it into your computer's USB port. The USB port can usually be found in the front of your desktop computer. For laptops, it is located on the side.

Click on my computer. There should be a drive where your camera pictures are located. It should have the name of your camera under the drive. Click on that folder.

Find your pictures in the folder that you have just clicked on it. If you would like to move all of your photos to the "my pictures" folder, click "control A." Then right click your mouse and select "copy all." Move all of your pictures to the my pictures folder.

Create a new folder if you would like your photos placed in a different folder. Right click within the " my pictures" folder and click on new. Then select folder. You can then name the folder with a new title. Drag your selected photos into the folder.
