Insert your memory card, photo CD, or USB cable connected to your camera into the proper slot. In the case of a memory card, you will need a memory card reader on your computer, or many are found on printers inside of an enclosed case. A menu will pop up, asking how you would like to handle these pictures or where you would like to download them.

  2. Step 2

Select the appropriate choice and click "OK." These selections will vary with the type of software you have installed on each of your computers.

  3. Step 3

If you would like the same software to handle the photos each time, simply check the box next to that choice on the bottom of your screen. You can always go back and change it later on by going into the "Properties" menu.

  4. Step 4

If you would like to delete the pictures from the device after you copy them, simply check that box. Or if you would only like certain photos transferred to your computer, simply uncheck the boxes next to those that are not needed.

Tips & Warnings
  • Store your pictures on the removable card or CD until you have printed them or have found permanent storage for them.
  • If your card cannot be read on one computer, try another, or try inserting in another slot or the other direction.
