How to Tell if a Girl Likes You in School

She loves me, she loves me not.

School is the ideal social setup for learning communication skills, public speaking and picking up girls. The task isn't even that difficult if you note who is already paying more attention to you than to their math homework. You can tell whether a girl likes you with a few simple tips.

Instructions

1. Notice whether she notices you. If the girl is staring at you every time you look up from your chemistry book, there may be some chemistry brewing.

2. Pay attention to those little notes she passes across the room. Some may be dumb or incidental, but they are always addressed to you.

3. Look for invitations, even casual ones. If the girl asks you to come help her with her homework, or says she'll be at the soda shop Friday with friends and aks you stop by, she's probably into you.

4. See whether she hangs on your every word, tries to sit next to you or pairs up with you during field trips.

5. Watch for little gifts left on your desk or an extra-special Valentine's card crammed in your locker.

6. Listen for gossip. Cliques are useful for at least one thing: spreading gossip about who likes whom.

Tips & Warnings

• Although cliques often spread useful gossip, they just as often spread useless rumors. Investigate any gossip you may hear.

• Some girls may be incredibly shy, and none of the above will apply.

• Don't be oblivious to the girl's subtle hints.
