Self-massage is an easy way to de-stress and calm yourself. Here are several techniques you can do at work or at home.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Medium-sized ball
  1. Step 1

Start by giving yourself a simple facial massage. Start by sweeping your hands over your face and lightly tapping your fingers against the skin. Then place an index finger on each side of the sinus cavity (the bridge of your nose) and gently sweep downward. Take your index finger and middle finger on each hand and place them on your temples. Gently rub them in small circles.

  2. Step 2

Take a medium-sized ball and place it between your shoulders and a wall. Slowly roll the ball up and down your back by bending your knees. This should work out most of the tension in your back.

  3. Step 3

Give yourself a neck massage. Simply use both of your thumbs and find the indentation where your neck meets your shoulders. Gently press your thumbs into the indentation and rub slowly.

  4. Step 4

By now you should be feeling refreshed and de-stressed.
