How to Solve the Sanctuary Puzzle in Uncharted Drake's Fortune

Uncharted Drake's Fortune is a challenging and fun game for players of at least age 13. These steps describe the basics for solving the puzzle featured in the Sanctuary level (level 13).

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

1. Move the character to the middle of the compass on the floor and jump up onto the statue that resembles an angel.
2. Hold down the triangle button and spin the statue with the left analog stick so that it faces away from your character (spin 180 degrees).
3. Jump back down to the middle of the compass and turn character to face the statue that resembles a goat.
4. Jump up onto the statue of the goat and, using the triangle button and left analog stick again, spin the goat 180 degrees from the position it originally started in.
5. Jump back down to the middle of the compass and turn to face the statue that resembles a bird.
6. Jump up onto the statue of the bird and, using the triangle button and left analog stick again, turn the bird statue two times so that it is facing two spots different than its original placing.
7. Jump back down to the middle of the compass and face the statue that resembles a lion.
8. Jump up onto the lion statue and, just as you have done with the previous statues, use the triangle button and left analog stick to turn the statue two spaces from its original positioning.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure to start spinning each statue from the position that the character jumps up onto the statue at, starting the jump from the middle of the compass (this is very important).
