The Simpsons is a cartoon and because of that their animated home is filled with all kinds of bright colors that are not normally seen. To duplicate this, paint the walls of the room with a bright yellow or blue. Blue may be a better choice because as you add Simpson’s memorabilia, yellow will appear much more often. Use multiple coats of paint so that the color does not look faded and you receive the brightest blue that you can.

After the paint has been applied, it time to add Simpson’s memorabilia. If you want to put something up that is more formal and presentable than a simple Simpson’s poster, then there are plenty of options. There have been several pictures released of the Simpsons that are takes of other pieces of pop culture or spoofs of famous artists. Some of the best include Homer in the famous Scream painting and the whole Simpson family in a spoof of the Sopranos. Framing every picture or poster you choose in a bright-colored frame like red or orange will help add to the room’s appeal and make the posters and pictures look a lot better on the wall.

Homer Simpson loves donuts and a great addition to the room would be a donut-designed rug. They may be hard to find, but it would make an excellent addition. Any other Simpson home additions, such as Marge's carrot-print kitchen curtains or a replica of the boat painting that hangs behind their sofa, give the room an authentic touch for the true Simpsons fan.

Because of the Simpson’s popularity, there are a ton of different things that have released in their likeness. You can find air fresheners, blankets, curtains, light switch covers and just about anything else to help you fill the room up. Dedicate a shelf to Simpson’s action figures or display some of the DVD sets that have been released.

Any furniture in the room should also match the bright vibrant colors that can be seen throughout the rest of the room. This will complete the room and when you step inside it, you will feel like you are entering the world of Springfield and the home of the Simpsons.
