How to Set up a Custom Domain in Blogger
Blogger offers users who aren't technically inclined a way to have an Internet presence. There are a number of useful features, from built-in templates to RSS subscriptions. You even have the option to set up a custom domain in Blogger.

Register your domain with one of the registration services, such as GoDaddy. Wait at least 24 hours after registering your domain before you set up your custom domain in Blogger. This allows your domain name to propagate across the Internet.

Create a CNAME record of "ghs.google.com" for your domain. The procedure for creating a CNAME record will vary from one domain provider to another. Follow your provider's instructions to create the CNAME. You can also check the Blogger CNAME reference page to see if your domain provider's instructions are listed.

Log in to Blogger and select your blog. Click on "Settings" and then "Publishing."

Select "Switch to Custom Domain."

Click "Switch to Advanced settings" under "Already own a domain?"

Enter your domain name in the "Your Domain" box. Click "Save settings." You have now set up your custom domain in Blogger.

Tips & Warnings
Blogger also provides you with the option to host your blog on an external server, should you wish to do so. Hosting your blog on your own server gives you a greater degree of customization and control over your blog, but also requires you to pay a hosting fee.
