How to Create Clothing With Poser Software
3-D character creation and animation is easy with Poser. Conforming clothing works best with superheroes and other athletic characters. Poser 5+ offers artists another option: dynamic clothing. This clothing wrinkles, bends and twists as the actor moves. Creating dynamic Poser clothing takes longer, but it is more realistic than conforming clothing.
Instructions

1
Add a character to the scene in the Pose Room. Do not change its pose. By default, Poser still images represent 1 second divided by 30 frames. Select "Animation Controls" at the bottom of the screen.
-
2
Slide the dial to the thirtieth frame. Pose the character and adjust the lighting and cameras. Return to the first frame. Add a dynamic clothing prop to the scene. Scale and position it to cover the character.

-
3
Select the "Cloth" tab to enter the Cloth Room. Click "New Simulation" and give it a name. Choose "OK" to accept the default settings.
-
4
Click "Clothify," select the dynamic clothing prop from drop-down menu and click "OK." Choose the "Collide Against" button and then the "Add/Remove" button. Choose your actor from the menu. Click "OK" to finish setup.
-
5
Choose "Calculate Simulation" to create dynamic clothing for your character. Poser calculates clothing changes throughout the 30 frames. Before leaving the Cloth Room, ensure the character does not poke through the clothing.
-
6
Return to the Pose Room. Save your file. Make sure the Animation Controls are at the thirtieth frame. Perform the final render of scene.
