How to Start A Home-Based Advertising Business

Starting your own profitable advertising business is both easy and inexpensive, you only need to get a bit creative.

1. As an owner of a small creative advertising firm, I have learned that quick and easy projects are the best way to make money. I'm not discussing your 'normal' small adverising agency that simply places ads in a newspaper/publication or gets an ad on the radio and makes a small percentage of the cost for doing it. What I'm talking about is actually producing very simple advertising campaigns for other businesses. To get started, you only need to get a bit creative and have the ability to make sales calls, or find someone who will for straight commission.
2. The first project that I recommend starting what I call a 'Savings Sheet.' This is nothing more than a standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper that features coupons from 8 local businesses, see my eHow article (link provided below, under the Resources heading, titled 'Savings Sheet How-to) to learn how to produce this easy money maker.
3. The advantage of this type of project is that it can be created, produced and DONE in a very short period of time because you only need 8 clients, and then can be repeated regularly (monthly).
4. There are many types of small projects like this you can create to make money. Take some time to think about what is needed in your area and use this idea to create a project that fills the need.
