Getting rid of annoying friends and acquaintances is tricky. You want them to dislike you but you don't want to be blatantly rude and cause trouble. Show those irritating friends that you don't want them around by sending them subtle messages.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Avoid their phone calls, emails and text messages. If you want to make someone dislike you, stop responding to their communication attempts. You don't have to be nasty for them to get the hint. When your phone rings, send them straight to voice mail and refuse to call them back. Disregard their emails and text messages so they know you no longer care.

  2. Step 2

Stop hanging out with them. Leave them off of your list of invites for your next party. Refuse any invitation they extend to you. They'll have a clue when they see that you don't have time for them. Make your annoying friends dislike you by not gracing them with your presence.

  3. Step 3

Refrain from talking to them. Give them the cold shoulder without making it obvious. If you run into them at school or other public places, pretend like you don't see them. Even cordial small talk can send irritating friends a mixed message. Ignore their attempts to talk to you by making yourself look busy doing something else.

  4. Step 4

Surround yourself with people they don't like. If you want your annoying friends to dislike you, befriend their enemies. Buddy up with their social rivals to let them know you are no longer on their side.

  5. Step 5

Remove them from your social networking sites. Give them a clue by erasing them from your MySpace and Facebook friends lists. Make them dislike you in a big way with a few small clicks.

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid confrontation and argument. Some people become overly emotional and volatile.
  • Avoid being blatantly mean or malicious. Your friends will get the message with a more subtle approach.
