How to Get Glue From a Mouse Trap Off a Cat
Some mouse traps use a strong adhesive to catch mice and hold them in place. A problem arises when you catch your cat in the mouse trap. Most cats can pull themselves away, but they usually end up with the sticky glue in their fur. Here's how to clean it

- Moderately Easy

1
Put your cat in a tub or sink. Apply vegetable oil on the affected area. Rub it in and work it through your cat's fur.
-
2
Allow the oil to dissolve the glue. It will take a few minutes. Hold on to your cat while waiting so that he doesn't run away and lick off the vegetable oil.
-
3
Wash the affected area with mild soap and warm water. A soap or shampoo specially formulated for bathing cats is the best choice, or any mild soap or shampoo will work.
-
4
Dry your cat with your towel.
