How to Look Like Selena Gomez

1. Go for comfortable and eye-catching. "I don't really like dressing up. Some people probably think actresses dress up everywhere they go. I'm in sweatpants half the time with my hair in a ponytail," admits Selena. For Earth Day, Selena wore a simple American Apparel sport shirt and Urban Outfitters jeans.

2. Enjoy Converses. Selena has more than twenty pairs of Converses, her favorite style of shoes, in her closet in all sorts of colors and styles. They go great with her love of jeans and tight leggings.

3. Buy a Guitar Pick Necklace. Selena and her best friend Demi Lovato each wear matching Guitar Pick Necklaces made with an actual Guitar Pick that is hung from a black rubber cord. You can often find Selena sporting several rubber cord bracelets as well.

4. Apply make up lightly. With a combination of Mexican and Italian ancestors, Selena has a natural beauty that doesn't need a lot of cosmetics. To recreate Selena's look, apply black eyeliner to your eyes, then apply a light layer of eyeshadow. Selena's favorite eyeshadows have a hint of purple or pink to compliment her brown eyes. 5. Style your hair like Selena's. Selena has long thick dark hair that looks great styled in many ways. It is cut with long side bangs and long layers. To get her large wavy look, use a 1 or 1 ½ inch barrel curling iron in big sections all over the head. For her straight look, apply a protective straightening gel on your hair, then move the straightener all the way down through the strands to the ends of the hair without curling the ends. Hairspray to keep the style.
