Join the hallowed ranks of Ashlee Simpson and Milli Vanilli by lip syncing and making a video of it. There's no reason not to. Who knows, you may even become famous, and get lots of contracts and money.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose a song with a lot of lyrics to lip sync and make a video of. A song with long, instrumental solos would not be a good choice for this project.

  2. Step 2

Learn how to sing the song so you can lip sync and video it. Here's the thing: not learning the words is a good thing. What you're going for is moving your lips exactly, or as closely as you can manage, to the way the singer is moving his or her lips.

  3. Step 3

Practice this a lot, and watch yourself in the mirror to check your progress. When you think you're ready, prepare to get ready to lip sync and video yourself doing it.

  4. Step 4

Get ready for the lights, camera, action. Dress up, put on make up (if you must) and look the part.

  5. Step 5

Video yourself lip syncing the song, then upload your video to the media editor on your computer. Import the song and work on syncing it to your film. Adjust the audio so that all you hear is the music of the song.

  6. Step 6

Edit your video to your heart's content and even add some effects.

  7. Step 7

Don't be shy. Show your friends.
