How to Go on Forbidden Websites at School and Not Get Caught
Most schools use filters to block websites that have potentially inappropriate materials, sites that are purely for entertainment and sites that may spread viruses. To get into any of those forbidden sites without being caught, there are a few maneuvers that work on the filters used in most schools.

1
Use a proxy site. These sites allow you to disguise the real site that you are visiting so that you can access forbidden websites. This is a very popular method of visiting social networking sites during school-- perhaps too popular. Once a proxy site becomes well known, it too will be blocked by the filters. The older and best known proxy sites will probably already be blocked.

2
Find the latest proxy sites. If you can get into a site where computer enthusiasts gather, you may be able to find information about new proxy sites before they become well known. You will probably be able to get into brand new proxy websites, at least for awhile. After the ones you use become blocked, you will have to look again.

Read the directions on each proxy site to see how to use it to disguise your movements.

4
Keep your proxy site to yourself. If it's used by everyone in school, the administrators may take a look at it to see what the site is about. That's a quick way to get it blocked as a forbidden site and for the students using it to get caught.

Tips & Warnings
Remember that if the site is blocked, there is usually a reason for it. If you are trying to access a social networking site, during school hours is not the best time to do it. If you have Internet access at home, wait until you get home from school to access sites that have no educational value.
