Accordion solitaire is simple to play, but extremely difficult to win. This game uses all the cards in the deck. If a card matches the card beside it or three cards away, it's removed. To "match," cards must share either the same suit or the same numerical value.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Lay out 13 cards face-up, starting at the top left and moving right. Lay down 13 more cards in the row below, moving from right to left. Continue this for 2 more rows, switching from left to right and then right to left again.

  2. Step 2

Begin playing the solitaire game anywhere in the deck. Remove any card that matches the card next to it or matches the card three cards ahead of it.

  3. Step 3

Remove only the card that matches the card next to it or the card 3 places ahead. Leave the matching cards, as well as any cards between matches.

  4. Step 4

Continue play until no more matches can be made. Win your accordion solitaire game by playing until only one card is left on the table.
