How to Pair a Bluetooth Motorola H375 to a Blackberry Pearl 8130

Bluetooth® technology is designed to enable
you to establish a wireless connection between your BlackBerry® device and a Bluetooth enabled device, such as a handsfree car kit or wireless stereo headset.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blackberry 8130
  • Motorola H375 Headset
  1. Step 1

    In the device options, click Bluetooth. Press the menu key. Click Enable Bluetooth.

  2. Step 2

    We need to ensure the headset is in pairing mode. Power on headset by pressing the Power button to initiate easy pairing. After a few moments, the indicator light will be steadily lit in blue to indicate headset is in pairing mode.

  3. Step 3

    In the Bluetooth setup application, click Search for devices from here or Allow another device to find me. Click OK. The phone lists Bluetooth devices it finds.

  4. Step 4

    Select Motorola H375. Select OK or Yes to pair your headset with your phone.

  5. Step 5

    Enter the passkey: 0000. Select OK.

  6. Step 6

    When your headset successfully pairs with your phone, the indicator light flashes purple and blue.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some Bluetooth® enabled devices have a passkey that you must type before you can pair with them.
  • The instructions listed here were written to pair the Motorola H375 to the Blackberry 8130. See your users guide for instructions specific for your model.
  • After you pair your BlackBerry device with a Bluetooth enabled device, you can connect to that Bluetooth enabled device when the device is within range of your BlackBerry device (a typical range is approximately 10 meters).
  • When you turn on Bluetooth technology or when you connect your BlackBerry device to another Bluetooth enabled device, Bluetooth icons appear in the device status section of the screen.
  • For more information about Bluetooth icons, see the printed documentation that came with your BlackBerry device.

You must continue to hold down the Power button to obtain the steady light to indicate it is in pairing mode.
