1. First, save the file you want to fax to your computer. Most formats, including .doc, .xls. and .pdf, among others, will work.

2. Go to faxZero.com. Once there, completely fill out the fax form, including sender and receiver information, upload your file and press the "Send Free Fax Now" icon. There is a limit of three pages per fax and two faxes per day, per email address. The more email addresses you have, the more you can utilize this free fax service.

3. Verify your email address in the link that faxZero sends to your inbox. Your fax will not be sent until you do. Once the address is verified, it will be transmitted. You can continue to check the status of you fax via the "Status" page link that the site gives you.

Tips & Warnings

• The more email address you have the more faxes you can send. The cover page that the sites sends with the fax does not take up one of your three pages per fax. Do not use this service if you do not want the faxZero advertisement on the cover page. This service is 100 percent free and Internet based.
