How to Get Married on MapleStory

Millions of people around the world get married on MapleStory, a free online role-playing game. Propose by earning an engagement ring, and then get a blessing from the High Priest to get married in the Cathedral. Buy a special ticket and throw a reception after the ceremony for your friends.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Propose

1. Navigate to the Maple Story website and log in.
2. Find Nana in one of the villages. She will ask you to clear four missions to prove your love and earn an engagement ring.
3. Take your "proved love" to Mooney in Amoria and pick out an engagement ring.
4. Propose by double-clicking on your engagement ring. Type in your fiancé's name in the box that appears.
5. Read the message that states you are engaged. Keep this message for your marriage.

Make a Reservation

6. Talk to a wedding coordinator, either Wayne or Victoria, in Amoria.
7. Bring your engagement ring and get a wedding ticket from the cash shop.
8. Tell the coordinator your wish list and receive your invitations.
9. Obtain a reservation at the chapel and get married whenever you want.
10. Make a reservation at the Cathedral. You will need to bring your Officiator's permission from the High Priest named John. See Section 3.

Obtain the Officiator's Permission

11. Show your parents that the person you want to marry is the person of your dreams by performing a task for your parents. Obtain their blessing when the task is complete.
12. Get the officiator's permission after gaining your parents' blessing by taking your parents' blessing to the High Priest John to ask for his approval.
13. Make a reservation at the Cathedral with the approval of the High Priest named John.

Perform the Cathederal Wedding Ceremony

14. Talk to assistant named Nicole to enter into the wedding hall, and then talk to the assistant named Nancy to begin the wedding. It begins 10 minutes after you enter.
15. Seat the guests, and then walk down the isle.
16. Click on the High Priest named John, and he will begin the ceremony.

Perform the Chapel Wedding Ceremony

17. Talk to assistant named Bonnie to go into the wedding hall, and then talk to the assistant named Jackie to begin the wedding. It begins 5 minutes after you enter.
18. Seat the guests, and then walk down the isle.
19. Click on the preacher, and he will begin the ceremony.

After the Wedding

20. Go to photo time and get 60 seconds to snap a photo.
21. Take five minutes to socialize with your friends.
22. Proceed to the Untamed Hearts Hunting Ground after the party. Kill three monsters and get the keys to the Treasure Room.
23. Speak with Robin the Huntress to get access to the Treasure Room. Inside the Treasure Room are rare and valuable items.
24. Loot one and receive an Orb. Translate an Orb for a Pila present, and then get a special item.

Tips & Warnings

• Only male characters can propose.
• Click on the guests to get a blessing from them.
• If there is a wedding going on you will have to wait until it is finished.
• If all the requirements are not met, you cannot start the wedding and you have to start over.
