To make a photo slideshow in Windows Movie Maker, import the photos you want to use and then select how they transition from one to another. Add titles or captions, and you're ready to play your photo slideshow for your friends and loved ones.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Import the photos you want to use in your slideshow to Windows Movie Maker. Click on "Import" under "Tasks" on the upper-left side, then choose the right photos. Drag each photo to a square in the story board, located along the bottom of the screen.
Step2
Choose how you want one photo to transition to the next by selecting an option under "Edit," is located just under the "Import" option on the upper-left of your screen. You can preview your selection by clicking "Play" on the screen located at the right.
Step3
Add titles or captions to your photo slideshow using the "Edit" option. You can add a title to begin the show, separate categories or events, or to end your production. In addition, you can add captions to any or all of the photos.
Step4
Click "Play" once you make your selections. Your photo slideshow will play on the screen. You can go back and make changes to any category.
Step5
Publish your photo slideshow wherever you like. You can burn it to a DVD, publish it on a website, send it via email, or use it as a screensaver on your computer. You'll be asked to name your video and save it to your hard drive.
