How to Make Wet Hair Look Good

Knowing how to make your hair look good when it is wet is an asset to anyone's styling arsenal. Whether you want a messy, carefree look or if you're just running late and don't have time, you can use these quick tips to make sure that your hair looks great with or without a blow dryer.

Instructions

1. Shampoo and condition your hair normally.

2. Squeeze out excess moisture from hair. The best way to do this is to simply wrap a towel around your hair and give it time to soak up all the water. You'll want to make sure that you get enough moisture out of your hair so that your clothes don't get wet.

3. Squirt a generous amount of mousse into the palm of your hand.

4. Spread the mousse through your hair. Make sure to evenly coat your hair but don't use too much. Some mousse can make your hair stiff when it dries. Use any kind of mousse you like. If you have thin hair you can use a volumizing one or one for curly hair if you have curly hair.

5. Gently scrunch or finger brush your hair to get it to settle into your normal hair style. Once you have it scrunched or settled to your liking, leave it alone. Less is more with a wet hairstyle.

• Don't tousle or rub your hair with a towel when your drying it. This messes with the natural cuticle in your hair and can make your hair frizzy.
