How to install an instant hot water heater under a sink
If you have ever been late in the morning but needed that cup of tea or coffee but couldn't want to wait for the water to boil and couldn't stop on the way. Here is a unit you can install under the sink for instant hot water Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- drill,screws,insta hot,plumbing tools,a
- 1/4 inch female cap if you have a sprayer attached to the faucet

First shut the hot water side of the faucet connector off. Disconnect the supply line. This valve is located either through the wall or through the floor. The supply valve is connected to a pipe that leads to the faucet. The hot side is on the left in most cases, However sometimes mistakes happen and someone attaches it to the cold side. All you have to do is follow the line down and turn the hot water on if the pipe gets hot it is the right valve.

Remove the spray and the fitting from the faucet and remove the escutcheon from the sink. Cap the fitting where you removed the hose from.

Install the insta hot and install the tank and the spout. Now connect the supply hose from the water shut off to the inlet of the tank .The tank is usually mounted to the wall under the sink. It can be mounted to the cabinet wall as well, Provided the cabinet is strong enough and has the room.

Install the outlet hose to the insta hot spout and you are now complete with the installation

Plug the unit in and in just a few short hours you have hot water

Tips & Warnings
After filling water heater run faucet to purge air from tank
never plug unit in until it is full of water

I would like to use this "how to", but I need some more instructions. I don't understand how to execute step 1, and I don't even know what a escutcheon is! Please add more description and/or pictures for each step.
