How to Maintain Healthy Hair

Your hair can be the finishing touch to your stylish appearance, or it can be a terrible detractor to the style you are trying to pull off. Maintain healthy, beautiful hair that will get you noticed by treating it kindly. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Get your hair trimmed every four to six weeks. Ends that are split and dry are a sign of unhealthy hair.

    • 2

Use natural bristles or wide-toothed combs to brush your hair. When you are unkind to your hair with harsh bristles and brushing habits, it is impossible to maintain healthy hair. Harsh brushes break and damage your hair if used every day.

    • 3

Brush your hair at least twice a day and always before you shampoo. This helps distribute the natural oils to your hair and scalp and increases blood flow to maintain healthy hair.

    • 4

Keep your hair natural. Natural, unprocessed hair, is always healthier than colored or treated locks. If you can't live with your natural color or style, then use protective shampoos and hair care products to maintain healthy hair after every treatment.

    • 5

Condition your hair after every wash, which should be at least every other day, and deep-condition every two weeks. This helps replenish moisture to all portions of the hair.

    • 6

Put only kind clips and rubber bands in your hair. Maintain healthy hair by avoiding clips, rubber bands and other accessories that may break or damage your locks.

    • 7

Style sparingly. Get a hair cut that allows you to style your hair every other day. Over-processing your hair makes it dry and can lead to more damage.

I would recommend essential oils instead of commercial shampoos, usually commercial products over stress you hair but the oils you can always mix and match the properties you nedd! 5*
