1
Tie your hair back and wash your face with a mild soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry and then prepare your pore reduction treatment.
-
2
Mix one egg white and 1 tsp. of fresh lemon juice, stirring until blended. When possible, choose organic eggs, as they tend to be higher in nutrient value. Set your mixture aside for later.

3
Boil a pot of water on the stove and add one handful of chopped licorice root. Remove the pot from the heat, and while still steaming, place your face a comfortable distance from the surface.
-
4
Prevent the steam from escaping by draping a large towel over your head and along the sides of the pot. Allow the steam treatment to penetrate your pores for at least five minutes.
-
5
Pat your face dry with your towel and apply your egg white and lemon juice mixture evenly to your skin. Apply a healthy amount of the mixture, massaging in a circular motion, helping the ingredients to absorb as much as possible into your pours.
-
6
Allow the pore reduction treatment to set for at least five minutes or until completely dry. You will feel the mixture working, tightening your skin and closing your pores. Rinse the egg white and lemon from your skin with luke warm water and follow with a splash of cold water to close your pores further. Repeat 2 or 3 times a week as needed.
