How to Get Sprint Dropped Call Credit

A dropped call on a cellular phone may occur for different reasons. Often the signal is interrupted by a physical obstruction, transfers between towers, usage is too high at that time or the caller is outside the coverage area. Whatever the reason, if the caller is using Sprint, there's a way for them to get credit on their monthly bill by reporting the problem.

  • Call Sprint. Dial *2 from a Sprint cellular phone or (888) 211-4727 from any phone.

  • Identify the customer by cellular phone number when calling from a different phone or land line.

  • Listen to the automated recording. Select the appropriate language option. Sprint offers bilingual services to its customers.

  • Answer the Sprint prompt and indicate "I would like credit for a dropped call." Confirm the voice activated system received the request.

  • Wait to hear it repeat the dropped call credit phrase. Make a note of the date and time, to confirm credit against your monthly bill.

  • Receive one credit, worth $0.50 towards a monthly billing statement for each dropped call and up to four credits per call to Sprint.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sprint allows up to a maximum of 20 credits per cellular phone number in any given rolling 30 day period.
  • Extended abuse of the dropped call credit system results in non-issued credits.
