How to Date as a Teenage Girl

Dating is a big part of a teenage girl's life. Every girl dreams of going out on that first date or going to a special place with a special guy. However, dating is not always easy for teenage girls. As the matter of fact, it can be one of the most difficult parts of being a teenager.

1. Talk to the guy you are interested in. You can simply walk up to him, say hi and invite him to go to the movies with you or out to eat. If you feel intimidated then don't ask him to go anywhere. Instead, talk about a movie that you really want to see and maybe he will get the hint and ask you to go see it. However, many guys are very shy, so you may need to do the asking.

2. Decide on a day and time for your date. Once the boy agrees to go out with you, you need to pick a good date and time for your date. Ask him when the best day and time is. No matter what he says, you can always make time for him. After all, he is the guy you really like and would love to spend time with.

3. Choose the right clothes to wear on the date. Be yourself and wear clothes you would normally wear.

4. Introduce him to your parents. You can do this when he comes to pick you up. This will help ease his nerves and your parent's nerves a little. It is always good to introduce your date to your parents so that they will know who you are with and where you are going. Tell your parents where you are going and what time you will be back.

5. Let the boy pay. However, it is okay to help him pay if he does not have enough money. It is even okay for the girl to pay every once in a while, or if you're the one who asked him out.

6. Enjoy yourself. Laugh, talk and have fun. If he wants to kiss you, let him. However, stop it at that.

• Brush your teeth well and wear deodorant.

• Do not eat a lot of heavy foods on the date. Eat lightly so your stomach will be okay. It is probably full of butterflies from the nerves anyway.
