How to Upload at Megaupload

Megaupload is a free online storage and file delivery service that doesn't require membership. However, members get free online storage space for music, photos, movies and documents up to 50GB, and for a monthly fee you can get up to 250GB. Megaupload makes it easy to share files that are too large to email.

Instructions

1. Go to the Megaupload website.

2. Click the "Browse" button next to the "Select file to send" box. Choose the file that you want to upload from your hard drive.

3. Choose who you would like to send the file to. If you enter a recipient's email and your email, you both receive a link to the file to download it. If you just want to create a link and store the file on the Megaupload server, leave these optional fields blank.

4. Write a description of the file in the designated box. You can enter your email and a recipient's email, but this is optional.

5. Select "Send" to start uploading your file. The link address will appear after upload is complete.

Tips & Warnings

• Becoming either a free member or premium member provides many benefits for users.

• If you entered your email address on the upload page, you will be emailed a link that allows you to delete the file.

• You cannot upload a file to Megaupload that is larger than 500MB.

• Uploaded files will be deleted after 21 days with no download activity.
