Playing Crysis is an experience that has captured gamers' attention. As with any game, soon gamers look for ways to improve the experience by creating cheats and codes. One cool modification is changing the suit stats that the character, Nomad, wears. With this eHow, you can start modifying your own suit.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make a copy of Crysis before you modify the stats of your suits in Crysis. You want to be able to start fresh if you don't like the modifications you make.

  2. Step 2

Modify your suit stats in Crysis by going to the files where the difficulty stats for the game are located. Start by looking in "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Config)."

  3. Step 3

    Look for files labeled "diff_easy.cfg," "diff_normal.cfg," "diff_hard.cfg," and "diff_bauer.cfg."

  4. Step 4

Use Notepad to open the difficulty stat file.

  5. Step 5

Increase the health value of your suit stat in Crysis by adding, "g_playerHealthValue" to the end of the file.

  6. Step 6

Reduce the time with which you regenerate your energy by typing, "g_playerSuitArmorModeHealthRegenTime." This modified suit stat will help you recover more quickly after a wound. You can also increase the speed at which you regenerate while moving by typing, "g_playerSuitArmorModeHealthRegenTimeMoving."

  7. Step 7

Speed up your health regeneration by adding stats that modify your suit in Crysis. Type: "g_playerSuitHealthRegenDelay," "g_playerSuitHealthRegenTime," "g_playerSuitHealthRegenTimeMoving," and "g_suitArmorHealthValue."

  8. Step 8

Adjust the speed at which your energy drains by adding "g_suitCloakEnergyDrainAdjuster" to the end of the difficulty file when playing Crysis.

  9. Step 9

Save the edits once you make them.

  10. Step 10

Load the Crysis with all of the edits you have made modifying the suit's stats and find out how well they work. Since you have a copy of the original game before the modifications, you can always add other modified stats to the difficulty codes.
