How to perform hard reset on your T-Mobile Shadow or Windows Mobile phone

Sometimes when your phone cannot go to main screen after restart, most of the times some of the files in your phone is corrupted. In this case, you need to perform a hard reset on your windows mobile phone to set your phone back to a factory settings.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• T-Mobile Shadow / Windows Mobile Phone

1. Power the Shadow off

2. Hold down the two soft buttons (The two right under the screen)

3. While still holding the two soft buttons, turn on your device

4. There should be a quick menu that pops up asking if you want to reset it. Say yes, let it reboot.

5. It will then start restoring your phone to defaults

Tips & Warnings

• It will take approximately 10 minutes to restore your phone to factory setup
• It helps if you have your phone at least half charged or have it plugged in to the wall, this will prevent your phone turned off during the restoring process
• Don't turn off your phone during the restoring process, be patient when you the same screen displayed for 3 minutes, it's doing something in the background
• If you turn off your phone during the process, it might disabled your phone even worse

on 3/3/2009 Glad i can help :)just a quick note, if you have HTC Touch Pro (ATT Fuze) you can press volume down, enter (middle button) then hit the reset switch with stylus, keep holding until it show the message to hard reset your phone.
