How to Make a Fudgy Brownie Trifle

In a time crunch or not so good in the kitchen? This quick and simple dessert is sure to impress everyone!

Things You’ll Need:

• 1 package Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix
• 1/4 cup Water
• 1/2 Vegetable Oil
• 2 Eggs
• 1 tablespoon Instant Coffee
• 1 package (4-serving size) Chocolate Instant Pudding Mix
• 2 cups Cold Milk
• 1 package English Toffee Bits
• 1 container Frozen Whipped Topping (thawed)
• Trifle Dish

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom only of a 13x9 inch pan or glass dish.
2. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package, using water, oil and eggs. Stir instant coffee into the batter. Spread in greased pan and bake as directed, letting cool completely after baked.
3. Cut brownies into 1 inch squares. Place half of the squares into the bottom of the 3-quart trifle dish. Prepare pudding mix as directed on package, using the milk. Pour half of the pudding over the brownies in the trifle dish.
4. Top the pudding in the trifle dish with half of the toffee bits, followed by half of the container of whipped topping.
5. Repeat with remaining brownies, pudding, toffee bits, and whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.
