Find Television Episode Videos Without YouTube

If you're a TV addict, but don't want to pay for cable or go to five YouTube links just to watch one complete episode, you're in luck. It's getting easier and easier to watch just about any show you want on your PC.

Instructions

    • 1

Use the networks. If you are a "Lost," "Desperate Housewives" or "The Office" fanatic, but you don't have access to traditional network television, you no longer have to wait a full year for the entire season to come out on DVD before you can watch it. ABC, NBC and CBS all offer streaming, full-episode videos of many of their most popular prime time and late night shows on their respective websites.

    • 2

Visit mass video link websites. If you are also interested in past seasons, off-air series and cable TV shows, then check out well-organized link websites such as Sidereel. You can find everything from "House" to "Hogan's Heroes."

    • 3

Join clubs and exclusive sites. Some sites require you to create a profile complete with user name and password while others, such as Hulu, limit viewers to invitees only. If you can't find what you are looking for on one of the open sites, then you might find joining one of these a good option.

Tips & Warnings

  • Search for current episodes of your favorite shows within a week, and often within 24 hours, of the original air dates. Sitting through a few 30-second commercials sure beats the 15 minutes of ads you'd have to endure on network television.
