How to Import Videos at Multiply.com

Adding video to your Multiply.com page is a great way to share them with your friends and add personality to your page. Simply import an existing video from your computer, or any number of sites including Photobucket, YouTube or Google Video. With just a few clicks, Multiply.com walks you through the process and adds the video to your page.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Sign into your Multiply.com account and click on the "Add Videos" link located in the right-hand column (see Resources below).

  2. Step 2

    Select from the options available to you. Multiply.com allows you to upload a video from the internet or your computer, or record your own video directly to the site.

  3. Step 3

    Paste the URL into the import existing videos from another website such as Youtube, MySpace or Photobucket. Click "Ok" when done and the video will be copied to your Multiply.com page. Depending upon the location of the video, you may be asked to sign in to that website in order to proceed.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Browse" to locate a video stored on your personal computer. Double-click to add the correct file, then click "Ok." Multiply.com will then import the video to your page.

  5. Step 5

    Choose "Multiply Video Recorder" to create a video that is recorded directly to your Multiply.com page. Keep in mind you must have either an icamera or a webcam for this option to work.

  6. Step 6

    Click on the tab at the top of the page that says "My Site" once your upload is complete. This refreshes the page so you can view the video that's now attached. You can add names and descriptions to the video and invite others to view it.

Tips & Warnings
  • To remove a video, simply right-click the name of the video and select "Delete." This removes the video and all information regarding the video from the website.
